Thermo DataRAM 4
The DataRAM 4 is a portable particle sizing monitor / data logger and dual-length Nephelometer. With the DataRAM 4 you'll never have to wait for laboratory results to assess whether airborne pollutants have reached dangerous levels. The DataRAM 4 real-time aerosol monitor measures mass concentrations of airborne dust, smoke, mist, hazes, and fumes. All while providing continuous real-time readouts. The instrument can be used for exposure sampling of ambient air. Continuous, unattended monitoring of indoor, duct, or process air, as well as environmental and perimeter monitoring is also possible.
Ultra-RAE Monitors
The Ultra-RAE blends the accuracy of RAE Systems’ supremely crafted
Photo-Ionization Detectors (PIDs) with the specificity of REA-Separation
tubes to create a highly accurate compound specific instrument. This
specialized instrument comes standard with the ability to data-log and
operate up to 12 hours on rechargeable Nickel-metal Hydride (NiMH)
Batteries.
Multi-RAE
Portable Organic Vapor Meter
The Multi-RAE Plus is an extremely flexible monitor configurable as a
diffusion or pumped instrument, with a variety of sensors and with
alkaline or rechargeable batteries. The Multi-RAE is the only
instrument available on the market today that can offer protection using
both portable organic vapor to standard gas detection sensors and an
integrated Photo-Ionization Detector (PID).
Jerome
Mercury Vapor Analyzer
The model 431-X is a portable, hand-held unit that can detect and
measure toxic mercury vapor levels in just seconds with just the push of
a button. The 431-X uses a fold film sensor to monitor mercury vapor in
a range from 0.001 to 0.999 mg/m3Hg. The gold film sensor is inherently
stable and selective to mercury, eliminating interferences common to
ultraviolet analyzers such as water vapor and hydrocarbons. When the
sample cycle is activated, the internal pump in the 431-X draws a
precise volume of air over the gold film sensor. The instrument computes
the concentration of mercury in mg/m3 or Ng and displays the final
result on the LCD readout. The Jerome Meter is useful in mercury spill
clean-ups as it may easily be carried to locations of concerns to detect
mercury sources, and after clean up the 431-X can be used to verify that
no hazardous residue remains.
MSA
Passport PID II Organic Vapor Monitor
The MSA Passport PID II organic vapor monitor is a convenient, portable
instrument for detecting low concentrations of volatile organic
compounds (VOC’s). The Passport PID II monitors compact design supports
a variety of monitoring applications.
Multi-Gas
Detector
The Multi-Gas Detection System can be used with short-term detector
tubes. The Detector uses a proven bellows design to ensure and even
stroke and accurate, repeatable results. Its contoured shape fits the
user’s hands and squeezes easily for one-handed operation. A built-in
automatic stroke counter records the exact number of strokes taken. An
easy to read end of stroke indicator prevents false measurements. The
pump draws 100 cubic centimeters of sample air per pump stroke.
The battery driven, electronically controlled instrument can
perform a pre-programmed number of strokes. This simplifies both
frequently taken short-term measurements and those requiring large
sample volumes. An LCD display indicates number of strokes taken as
well as a low battery condition.
Horiba
U-10 Water Quality Monitor
Horiba’s Model U-10 Water Quality Checker brings laboratory accuracy and
the ease of push-button operation to water quality measurement in the
field. Six parameters can be measured: pH, Temperature, Dissolved
Oxygen, Electrolytic Conductivity, Turbidity and Salinity. The sensor
measures by being directly submersed in the water, eliminating the need
to collect samples.
Air
Velocity & Temperature Meter
The laser verified portable air velocity meter delivers extremely
reliable measurements with a velocity range of 30 to 9999 fpms. Each
meter is calibrated in a system using Laser Doppler Velocimetry, the
same technology used by NIST. Even with its accuracy, this meter is
easy to operate. One touch of the velocity or temperature button
provides the desired reading. It can average up to 255 velocity and
temperature readings. When measuring fluctuating flows, it can be set
to display steady, time averaged numbers.
The RS-232 port easily transfers information to a data
analysis machine for printouts and manipulation.
Sound
Level Meters
The compact sound level meter is specifically designed to meet the sound
survey needs of industrial hygienists and safety professionals. It is
lightweight and easy to use. This unit uses a large digital display
with a full 0.1-dB resolution to guarantee precise readings. The sound
level meter reads in both “A” and “C” frequency weightings to simplify
selection of hearing protectors. Two measurement ranges, both covering
70-dB range, deliver a 30 to 135 dBA range. Since a socket is provided
to supply both AC and DC outputs, the meter can be used with other
measuring systems including chart recorders and tape recorders.
The sound survey meter is a simplified version of the sound
level meter, yet maintains much of its specifications. This meter is an
easy-to-use survey instrument to check whether industrial exposure areas
require more detailed investigation.
Q-300 Noise Dosimeter
The Q-300 Noise Dosimeter is a highly versatile, multi-function
data-logging noise dosimeter. It performs a wide variety of acoustical
measurements for applications such as workplace evaluations, personal
exposures, compliance assessments and environmental analysis. Its tough
package makes it ideal for industrial, military, mining and enforcement
use. RFI shielding and intrinsically safe design means the Q-300 can go
where you need it to go.
Dust
Monitor
The laser dust monitor utilizes light scattering detection with a low
power laser beam to monitor airborne concentrations of dust. Two
readouts provide a real time concentration (analog) and cumulative
concentration (LCD) in counts per minute, a value that will relate to a
specific dust type through a correction factor. Designed for maximum
response for particle sizes between 0.1 and 10 microns the standard unit
has a range of 0.01 to 10 mg/M3. It operates on disposable AA batteries
with an optional rechargeable NiCad battery pack available.
Quest
Heat Stress Monitor
The Quest Heat Stress Monitor computes to WBGT index in either degrees
Celsius or Fahrenheit. The WBGT index is the industry standard method
for determining the level of heat stress of an individual within a given
environment. A large LCD indicates indoor and outdoor WBGT index as
well as ambient temperature, natural wet bulb temperature, and glove
temperature. The unit has the capability of data storage and output to
a serial parallel printer.
